May 1, 2020 COVID-19 Update from Management

As we prepare to reopen Monday, we are continuing to do our part in maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for our team members, guests and greater community. We have implemented the following procedures at Harpoon Harry’s Crab House – Tampa in response to reopening:

*We are limiting guest capacity and increasing space between tables to comply with the Governor’s order and CDC’s guidelines for social distancing

*We have removed all preset items on tables and now offer a “touch-less” dining experience which includes: disposable paper menus, single use salt and pepper, silverware rolled in disposable linen napkins and freshly sanitized condiments brought to table upon request

*We continue to maintain a high standard of sanitization efforts utilizing commercial grade disinfectant, with a focus on high-touch areas

*Staff is adhering to policies and procedures that promote excellent hygiene which includes face masks

*We have increased staff levels to maintain a clean and maintained environment

*Sanitizer is provided for guests upon entering and leaving our establishment

*Staff members are required to stay home if they feel ill and are following the recommendations of the CDC

*Management provides ongoing training of best practices

We appreciate our guests’ individual efforts to practice excellent hygiene and the recommended social distancing within our establishment. Management will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed. Our mission has always been quality food and quality service in a clean and well maintained environment.

March 11, 2020 COVID-19 Procedures

The safety of our Guests and Associates is the highest priority to us.  We have implemented many additional safeguards to ensure your safety and enjoyment.  We are evaluating all our procedures daily and reacting immediately to anything we can do in which will heighten our effectiveness to create the safest environment.  Since 1992 when our Company was formed there has been three company principals that have guided us.  The first being Health and making sure we have the concern of our Guest and Associates health as a priority.

Some procedures we have always undertaken or have added to make your safety a priority.

  • Our tables are completely wiped down and sanitized after each use. This includes condiments and all surface areas.
  • We are sanitizing menus after each use.
  • We are sanitizing all surfaces in our restrooms every 30 minutes.
  • We are working closely with our Chemical vendor EcoLab to ensure our washing and sanitizing procedures exceed our current high standards.
  • We have added additional Associates to ensure our Venue is cleaned and sanitized consistently throughout our operation day.
  • We are providing Wet Naps on all tables for your convenience and use.
  • Ongoing employee training regarding best practices for providing a safe and healthy environment.
  • Our Mission has always been Quality Food, Quality Service in a clean and well-maintained environment. It has served us well for many decades. We are adapting our operation constantly and will do everything possible to make our Venue the safest possible.
